The NHS wanted an iPhone app that would help people decide where they needed to be treated if they became unwell. The app stores information on a wide range of common and not so common illnesses. The user can start by either selecting their symptoms from a list or by selecting the service they think they require.
Along with being able to self diagnose the treatment they may need they can also find services local to them with the built in GPRS service as well as getting directions using google maps.
The service was aimed at people who might visit the doctor or other important NHS services before thinking where they might find the best treatment for their symptoms.
The navigation is easy to use, the user can search using their symptoms, choose the NHS service they think they require or find a local service using the built in GPRS.
The user can utilise the built in GPRS to find services local to them, choose from a list and then get directions using google maps.
