Slackline.org.uk

Slacklining is a fairly new sport in the UK, it originally started in America by
rock-climbers. A slackline is a long flat strap that you can tension between two trees or posts, the idea is you stand onto the line and do tricks. It’s not as taut as a tightrope hence the “Slack” in the name, this means you can bounce on it and it means the lines can be very wobbly and difficult to balance on.

Slackline.org.uk is the UK's premier source for all things slacklining. The site is the UK's first point of contact with the sport, sharing tips, pictures and videos with other slackliners and fans of this up and coming sport.

I was asked to create a new brand for slackline.org.uk as well as a new website look and feel. Full of information and easy to navigate.

Slackline1

The new site offers more functionality than the original site, adding a gallery and video section as well as the link to SlackGear who sell equipment for slackliners and those new to the sport.

Slackline2

The homepage is fresh and clean with easy navigation to all sections of the site as well as a hot button to sign up to join the newsletter to improve communication between the site owners and their viewers.

Slackline4

There is a section for videos where people can watch profession slackliners and see new crossings. The videos can be shared with others via facebook and twitter to help spread the word of slacklining.
